The Ki of the Dragon
![]() Welcome to the Ki of the Dragon. This is an independant site and is not part of any other organisation. Many people believe in Ki, Qi, Tao, or some other form of Universal Life Force. Many people translate this to things they are familiar with, one such group is the Jedi Realists. This is not a Jedi site, instead, here, we do away with all metaphors and treat this life force as a force. The Force is part of our everyday life, we all use it, almost all the time, but not many can use it at will. Here, I will be presenting information which I would have found useful on my spiritual journey. That does not mean that it will help you in your journey, but if you follow the exercises in order, then you should find something happens. If you find that nothing changes, then please check out the links page and find another teacher who can teach you better than I.
The Ki of the Dragon. Weird name, huh? Well, Ki is one of the names for the Life Force, used by the Japanese. According to followers of Ki, the nature of this universal and fundemental energy is such that it penetrates everywhere. It is a creative energy, the divine 'breath' in every being, which appears as active attention, concentration, mental force and can, according to certian writers, be 'projected' outside oneself. One would say that a man or woman has a weak Ki or a strong Ki according to whether their personality was weak or strong.
For thousands of years, Dragons have captivated the minds of men, and have insipred many tales, poems and songs (not to mention high-budget movies) about them and their glory. When most people think "dragon" they most likely think of the Western dragon. Western dragons are usually portrayed as evil, mean, and bloodthirsty. However, dragons are really kind hearted, the draco flameus, the fire dragon, needs to constantly be surrounded by fire, any sort of water causes corrosion for it's scales causing it to die. Because of this, being a fire dragon is a lonely occupation. Dragons are sometimes depicted as protectors of the realm, defenders of all that is good. A Dragon has a very strong personality, therefore a dragon would have large amounts of ki.
Dragons prefer using mental superiority rather than rely on brute strength, using other means instead of fighting, however when it comes to a fight, he is more than ready.
Inside all of us, we go through a journey. In our lives, we are all tested. That's life. If you choose to train here, your ki will increase, giving you an additional tool to get through life and pass tests presented to you. Hopefully, by the end of the training, you will have the heart, and Ki, of a Dragon.
I salute you.
